DISCOVER THE COLLECTION

Geneve Potgieter [née Eloff]

South African artist Geneve Potgieter received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Pretoria. Potgieter [née Eloff] is published in the 3rd Edition of The Collector’s Guide to Art and Artists in South Africa and her work forms part of a selection of corporate and private collections. Following her studies she entered the interior design industry with a focus on sustainable design, which remains to influence her current works’ conceptualisation. Alongside her studio practice, Potgieter is a curator and co-founder of Micro.Exhibits.

Rooted in observation

Each drawing emerges from a quiet observation, inviting moments of reflection on the fleeting beauty of the natural world. Created by hand using archival materials, every work is intended to endure while honouring what is inherently ephemeral.
